ENT FAQs
Individual test results may be seen through the portal of the place you received the test from (radiology center, lab corp, etc). We would be happy to send you individual test results as well. We do require that you either schedule an in-office follow-up or telemed visit for interpretation of the results with your doctor.
We ask that you cancel new patients, follow-up, and pre/post-op appointments with 24-hour notice. If notice is given later patients could receive a $50 fee For cosmetic consults or cosmetic injectable appointments we ask that you give us a 72-hour notice, if given later the $200 deposit can become non-refundable.
Upon scheduling a new patient appointment a link will be sent to your email address to access the patient portal. If you get locked out of your portal you can reach out to our office to unlock that for you.
We do not require a referral unless it is required by your insurance plan.
We have doctors who specialize in either otolaryngology or facial plastic surgery.
Yes, our doctors treat patients of all ages.
A new patient appointment is typically 30 minutes.
Our doctors perform in-office procedures daily and operate out of the hospital on their designated block times each week.
Our doctors currently perform in-office procedures or operate out of Jefferson Cherry Hill and Jefferson Stratford hospitals.
Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 9 am-5 pm.
Our self-pay rate is $300 for a new patient appointment and $150 for any additional follow-up appointment.
We take most major insurance plans. You can visit our insurance information page or call your insurance company to confirm if our providers are in your network.
We can not guarantee coverage of any procedure but we will complete the necessary pre-authorization needed through your insurance company. Visit our insurance information page for more information on which insurance plans we accept.
A physical copy of the script will be given to you at your appointment. It can also be emailed to you and faxed to your testing facility.
Every insurance company has different rules when it comes to their global period after a procedure. We may not collect the copay for the first few post-ops to avoid an overpayment if the insurance company has a global period. If your insurance company does not have a global period, that copay will be billed afterward and can be paid online, over the phone, or in the office during your next visit.
Bills can be for a multitude of different things. Depending on your insurance plan, it could be a copay, deductible, co-insurance, or surgery balance.
Unfortunately, sometimes our system sends out reminders for telemedicine appointments that say they are in the office. If there is any doubt, please call our office and we can provide clarity.
It varies but typically it is between 1-2 months. It is always best to call the office so office staff can let you know the soonest date available.
After your visit, the medical assistant will contact your insurance company to obtain authorization for certain types of scans and testing if ordered by the doctor. Some insurances do not require authorization and some do. Authorization can take anywhere from an hour to a few weeks. As soon as the office receives your authorization it will be sent to you so you can proceed with scheduling any additional testing.
