Traveling for facial plastic surgery or complex sinus care requires planning, trust, and exceptional communication. Whether you are arriving by plane or planning a determined road trip, we have designed a structured, supportive pathway to make your surgical experience organized, efficient, and low stress.

Distance should not keep you from the results you deserve.

When distance is involved, your journey typically begins with a comprehensive virtual consultation. This allows our board certified physicians to evaluate your anatomy, understand your cosmetic or functional goals, and determine if you are a strong surgical candidate before you book a flight.

During this secure video visit, we will:

• Review your complete medical history.
• Discuss breathing concerns, aesthetic goals, or both.
• Assess structural issues like septal deviation, nasal valve collapse, or prior surgical changes.
• Review your submitted photographs in detail.
• Outline a preliminary surgical plan and discuss recovery timelines.

If you decide to move forward, we coordinate your face to face preoperative visit to occur just days before your surgery to minimize unnecessary travel.

Clear, high quality images are essential for an accurate virtual assessment. Small details matter. These photos allow us to evaluate symmetry, tip support, bridge contour, and functional anatomy.

Please submit six relaxed, unposed photos taken in bright natural light against a plain background. Blurry, filtered, or heavily shadowed photos will delay your consultation. Submit your photos to info@njent.com

• Front View: Straight on, looking directly into the camera.
• Profile Views: Full side views of both the left and right sides showing bridge and tip projection.
• Three Quarter Views: Approximately 45 degree angles of both the left and right sides.
• Base View: Head tilted back, looking upward to show nostrils and tip structure.
• Smiling Profile: Left and right side views to demonstrate how the nose changes with facial movement.

• Use a neutral background such as white or light blue
• Stand in bright natural light and avoid harsh shadows
• Keep a neutral, relaxed expression
• Hold the camera at eye level, not angled up or down
• Stand approximately 2 to 3 feet from the camera
• Wear minimal or no makeup
• Pull hair back from the face and neck
• Whole face and neck should be within view

These details allow for an accurate surgical assessment. Blurry, filtered, or heavily shadowed photos make evaluation difficult and may delay your consultation.

Examples of photos needed:

You are welcome to share inspiration “wish” photos of noses you admire. We use these as conversation tools to identify specific features you like, such as a refined tip or a straighter bridge. Select individuals with facial features and skin thickness similar to your own. Our goal is never to copy someone else’s nose. Our goal is to design the best version of yours in perfect balance with your face.

If you are seeking revision rhinoplasty or treatment after an injury, please provide photos from before the injury or prior surgery if you have them. Operative reports from previous procedures are also extremely helpful for planning complex reconstructive work.

To reduce your travel burden, we typically schedule your in person preoperative appointment one to two days before your surgery at our Marlton, New Jersey office.

At this visit, our team will perform a full physical examination, take standardized medical photographs, review your surgical markings, complete your consent forms, and answer any remaining questions you have.

Surgery is performed at an accredited surgical facility. After your procedure, you will need a responsible adult to stay with you. For patients traveling alone, we can assist with arrangements.
